The Bridge Yard is a historic and iconic space located on a narrow strip of land along the San Francisco Bay. Built in 1939 to house the streetcars that once transported people from Oakland to San Francisco via the lower deck of The Bay Bridge, The Bridge Yard has been stunningly restored with many of its original architectural details intact.

On the drive to the Bridge Yard, you’ll see shipping containers brought to the Port of Oakland, a hub of activity and commerce that’s integral to the fabric of the Bay Area!
